SWIM FACILITY RULES, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
- Pool Gate - The pool gate must be secured at all times and keycards must be used for entry by each member. The gate may not be propped open at any time.
- Sign In - Members must sign in family members at each visit.
- Age Requirement - Members must be 13+ years of age to be at the pool without a guardian or parent. Guardians for children under 13 must be 16 or older unless they are a sibling. Sibling guardians must be 13 or older.
- Guest Fees - Guests may attend with a member for $5 per person paid upon arrival via cash, Venmo (@lesliebeachclub) or Zelle (zelle@lbcswimtennis.com).
- Rule Enforcement - Lifeguards have the authority to enforce and/or initiate all rules for the health and safety of all patrons.
- Safety - No running, bouncing balls or dangerous horseplay. Lifeguards will give one warning. If a second warning is given, the lifeguard will notify the parent/guardian. If a third warning is needed, the person will not be permitted back in the pool for 30 minutes.
- Early Hours Swim Waiver- No swimming allowed without a certified lifeguard present unless a member 21 years or older has submitted an LBC Swim at Your Own Risk Liability Release.pdf to swimwaiver@lbcswimtennis.com.
- Adult Supervision - Parents and/or Guardians shall maintain the responsibility to supervise the actions of their children & guests at all times while on club property, including cleaning up after eating and drinking.
- Bikes and scooters - must be parked at the bike rack behind the playground. They may not be kept inside the pool enclosure.
- Appropriate attire - is required for swimming. Swim diapers or leak-proof plastic/rubber pants are required for children not fully toilet trained.
- “Break” is called for 15 minutes before each hour. All children under the age of 16 must exit the pool, as lifeguards are required to perform duties other than strictly paying attention to the water activities during this time.
- Children under the age of 3 may remain in the water at their own risk during break while in the direct care of the parent/guardian.
- Patrons under the age of 16 may not touch the water in any way during lifeguard break.
- Patrons 16 years and older may swim at their own risk during break.
- Food and Beverages - No glass allowed inside pool enclosure at any time. No food or drink in the playground with the exception of home swim meets.
- Cleanup and Grills - Members are expected to clean up after themselves and clean grills after each use.
- Lane Lines - No hanging on lane lines or diving well ropes. All swimmers must go under lane lines. No playing in lanes when lap swimmers are present.
- Diving Board and Slide - One person at a time on the diving board and slide.
- Keep the landing area clear - no swimming in front of the diving board or slide while either is in use.
- No diving allowed in shallow end of the pool.
- Floats - No floats allowed in the diving well, on the diving board or on the slide.
- Float use is at the discretion of the lifeguards based on how crowded the pool is, appropriate use of floats, and safety.
- Only one person per float at a time. No jumping on a float or into the pool with a float allowed.
- Pool Closing Time - Members are expected to exit the pool deck no later than the posted pool closure time.
- No bouncing balls on any area of the pool deck.
